      Dr. Liu Qiao received a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics for Economics from Renmin University of China, a Master's degree in Economics from the Research Institute of the People's Bank of China, a PhD degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and he is a Distinguished Professor under the Changjiang Scholars Program. He previously served as Assistant Professor at the School of Economics and Finance, the University of Hong Kong, Consultant at McKinsey and Company's Asia-Pacific Corporate Finance and Strategy Center, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor (tenured) at the Faculty of Economics and Business, the University of Hong Kong. He is currently the Dean of Guanghua School of Management, Peking University, and serves as Professor and Doctoral Supervisor in Finance and Economics. Dr. Liu is also a member of Think Tank Committee of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Member of the Economic Research Center of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, Member of the Expert Review Committee of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, Member of the GEM Listing Committee of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, and Postdoctoral Supervisor for institutions such as the China Securities Regulatory Commission, Shenzhen Stock Exchange, China Financial Futures Exchange, and China Minsheng Bank Co., Ltd. He also serves as Vice President of the China Enterprise Reform and Development Society and Independent Director of China Merchants Bank Co., Ltd.
